The adventurous Quasar saxophone quartet from Montréal are renowned for their virtuoso performances, integration of new performance technologies and the championing of new Canadian and international works, many of them written expressly for the quartet. Quasar will present an exciting program including work by Edmonton composer Charles Stolte and several unique works for invented wind instruments by composer Jean-François Laporte.
