One of Canada’s most prominent trumpet players, Adam Zinatelli is Principal Trumpet of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and is a founding member of the Reveille Trumpet Collective, a group dedicated to commissioning and performing new music.
Adam is a laureate of the 2008 Montreal Symphony Orchestra Competition. Mr. Zinatelli can be heard playing in the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra on recent broadcasts on CBC Radio, as well as on discs of works by Gershwin and Beethoven. Adam has been featured as a soloist with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Calgary’s Kensington Sinfonia, and the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra, among others.
Mr. Zinatelli studied at the Glenn Gould School in Toronto with Andrew McCandless, and at the Cleveland Institute of Music with Michael Sachs. Adam has taught at Mount Royal University in Calgary and the National Academy Orchestra of Canada.
